Well,
guys and gals, you may have noticed that the 2005
Texas Pinball Festival
is going to occur the weekend immediately prior to Halloween. To get
in the spirit of everybody’s favorite fun-filled holiday the entire
event will be themed around ghosts, goblins, monsters, and things that
go bump in the night. This will be especially evident on Saturday. With guests in costume, music to dance to, courtesy of
Legacy Entertainment and of course lots of pinball machines to
play!

the the little monsters -
Wear your
Costume!
Kids!
Come to the Texas Pinball Festival Saturday in your Halloween Costume
and receive a goodie bag of treats! Plus enter into our Kids
Costume Contest
at 3pm! Judging for the Best Kids Costume will be done by audience
participation and the winner will be awarded a $50 Gift Card to
GameStop.
Also
for the kiddos...... They will have an opportunity to guess how many pieces of candy
are in a jar. The jar will be available for viewing from 1pm to 4pm.
One guess per child. The child with the closest guess will win a $50
Gift Card to GameStop.
Monster
Bash Pinball Tournament -
We will have a variety of pinball machines on the exhibit hall floor
throughout the show that have themes appropriate for the holiday. One
of those games will be selected for a Monster
Bash Tournament.
This tournament will begin at 11pm on Saturday. Each
attendee that is in costume will receive one free play on the Monster
Bash Tournament machine. Attendees not in costume who wish to
participate in the tourney can purchase a ticket to play for $5 at the
registration table. Trophy
to be awarded to player with the highest score.
 Costume
Contests -
We will also be having two costume contests during the Monster Bash
party offering a $350 prize pool. Judging for the contests will begin
at 10pm by the audience.
Best
overall costume: Based
off of any style or theme of costume.
Contest Winners
will receive: First prize - $100, Second prize - $50, Third prize - $25
Best
Pinball Themed Costume: This
contest will be for costumes that tie to a pinball theme - come dressed
as your favorite game or a famous pinball character or ????? . So
begin to ponder what your costume strategy is…..be creative….go
wild!
