2024 “Elton” Commemorative Challenge Coin

The 2024 Commemorative Challenge Coin is a unique memento of the Texas Pinball Festival.

This art was created by Bubba Flint collaborating with Blake Dumesnil. Each year we attempt to do a unique font/logo and Blake does most of our amazing graphics that make the final product truly complete. The origin is that during Bubba’s first Texas pinball festival in 2016, Paul purchased his “Tommy” art which has been in 1000’s of zoom calls and got a lot of positive feedback. So for our 20th anniversary it seemed appropriate to have the pinball wizard himself be the theme of the 2024 show, cause you know that song is always in your head when you walk into the show anyway. It was unknown at the time that Steve Ritchie of JJP was working on an Elton John pin to be debuted and given away as a raffle prize at the show that year… a bit of pinball luck.
