Media Pass Acquisition

To secure your media pass for the Texas Pinball Festival, please complete our online application form. Ensure you provide valid credentials, such as a press ID or an assignment letter from your media outlet.

Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on where to collect your pass upon arrival. Passes grant access to all public areas, including special media zones for interviews and coverage.

Festival Operating Hours

The Texas Pinball Festival opens its doors to the public on Friday at 12:00 PM and closes at 11:00 PM. On Saturday, the festival runs from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The final day, Sunday, begins at 10:00 AM and concludes at 5:00 PM. Media personnel are granted early access one hour before the official opening each day to set up and prepare for coverage.

Make sure to plan your visit accordingly to cover all the exciting events, including seminars, game showcases, and exclusive interviews. Our media team is available to assist with any inquiries or special requests during the festival.

What are the event hours for TPF?

How can I obtain a media pass?

Media passes can be obtained by registering on our website under the ‘Media’ section. Approved personnel will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.

What facilities are available for media personnel?

Media personnel have access to a dedicated lounge with Wi-Fi, charging stations, and refreshments. Please check in at the media desk upon arrival.

Are there any restrictions on photography or filming?

Photography and filming are permitted in designated areas. Please respect the privacy of attendees and follow any additional guidelines provided on-site.

Where can I find the event floor plan?

The event floor plan is available on our website and will be provided at the entrance. It includes locations of all exhibitors and key attractions.

Information

The Texas Pinball Festival invites qualified working journalists to submit a request for a complimentary media pass that provides access to the event, limited access to seminars based on capacity, and potential interview opportunities with Texas Pinball Festival personnel and guests.

All media accreditation requests for the 2026 show must be submitted by Monday, March 16, 2026. Requests after this date will not be considered. There will be NO onsite press registration.

BEFORE YOU APPLY, PLEASE READ:

Press passes to the 2026 Texas Pinball Festival are being made available for the following media outlets:

(A) PRINT MEDIA: Print Media includes local newspapers, national newspapers, magazines, etc.

(B) TELEVISION & RADIO: TV & Radio include AM, FM, Satellite, Local TV and National TV

(C) ONLINE MEDIA: We have a limited amount of press passes for internet only press, making it difficult to grant passes to everyone who makes a request. In order to be considered for internet press credentials you must fit the following criteria:

  • The website you write for must be active online with original content updated at least weekly.
  •  Your website must have at least two verifiable social media pages with more than 2,000 followers each. Pages can be on Facebook, YouTube, Tumblr, Twitter, or Instagram.
  • Your website must appear on at least page two (or higher) of a Google search for your site.

Internet press is limited to two passes per web outlet, and both pass holders must work for the website in question and have verifiable credentials.

NOTE: A press pass does not guarantee any interviews with celebrities, authors, artists or other special guests attending the event.

If you are not approved for comped press credentials, you may still purchase a ticket and report on the show.

DETAILS:

  • To apply, email your name, position, company name, address, phone, email address, and type of media you work for (Print, Television & Radio, Online) to media AT texaspinball.com.
  • Once your application has been processed and approved, you will receive an email confirmation. Confirmed media may pick up non-transferable passes on-site at the Registration Booth with photo identification and a business card.
  • Media credentials are reserved for working members of the media only. This includes editors, reporters, writers, bloggers, producers, camera crews, and still photographers. Employees of media outlets who do not work in an editorial capacity are not qualified for a media credential. Media passes will not be issued to family members or friends of applicant. We reserve the right to modify this policy without public notice and to deny complimentary media passes at any time.
  • If you have been credentialed at the Texas Pinball Festival before, be sure to include tear sheets and/or links to coverage of that event.
  • If this will be your first time at the Texas Pinball Festival, be sure to include tear sheets and/or links to related coverage from the outlet for which you intend to work.

Please Note:

  • TexasPinball Festival and PinEvents, LLC reserve the right to modify this policy without public notice and may deny any applicant a media pass for any reason.
  • Submitting an application does not automatically qualify you for a media pass for our event.
  • All qualified media must be prepared to show valid photo identification and a business card, to pick up their passes at the event.
  • We favor journalists who promote our event throughout the year.
